Burgess has signed the 64m (210ft) Palmer Johnson new build project PJ 210-2 for sale. Scheduled for delivery in November 2017, the second vessel in the 210 series is designed to blend the speed and performance of a fast sports yacht with the volume, comfort and amenities of a large motor yacht. This striking and highly innovative semi-displacement yacht represents an impressive evolution of the original and highly acclaimed Palmer Johnson 120ft sports yacht.
Like her predecessor, the all-aluminum PJ 210-2 will harness exceptional power. With a swift cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of 28 knots, the vessel remarkably has a transatlantic range. Her near-vertical, slim-line bow was conceived to deliver exceptional sea keeping ability, and maximize comfort when underway. Despite her considerable size, she is super-sleek, dramatic and sporty, with an unbroken line running from transom to bow, emphasising the flowing profile of her distinctive Nuvolari Lenard styling.
A generous beam of 9.5 metres (31ft) on this tri-deck luxury yacht results in a vast 650 sqm (7,000 sq ft) of light and airy interior guest spaces, which will incorporate large living, dining and entertaining areas with panoramic views along with spacious accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins. A full beam master suite with large circular windows will be located on the main deck, while a full width VIP suite and four further cabins are planned for the lower deck.
A seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living areas will create an elegant but relaxed environment and the vessel’s expansive decks offer 344 sqm (3,700 sq ft) of exterior space. Numerous interesting options exist for customizing the enormous bow area and impressive aft deck, while the sun deck or “crow’s nest” is a more intimate area for relaxing outdoors.
Hull construction is already well underway but there is still excellent scope for a new owner to play a key role in developing this superyacht project to conclusion, while avoiding the long duration normally associated with commissioning a fully custom new build.
The PJ 210-2 is offered for sale by Burgess with an asking price of EUR 48,000,000.
