AquaZone

A thrill-seeker’s dream-come-true is the newest attraction at the Miami Yacht Show as the luxury in-water yachting exhibition presents its first-ever AquaZone, a demonstration area featuring the latest in watersports and personal watercraft. Presented by Informa and Nautical Ventures and located south of entrance three, near 47th Street along Collins Avenue, AquaZone offers an upfront look at some of the most innovative water toys in action.

Highlights include live flyboard demonstrations with commentary by world champion flyboarder and AquaZone emcee Kristen Smoyer, plus exciting Powervision underwater drone demos, SeaBob and Rover Boat Boards in action, yogis on stand-up paddleboards, kayak fishing seminars, the Schiller Water Bikes featured in Michael Phelps’ race against a great white shark and more. Demonstrations are performed by Nautical Ventures staff or designated vendors. The public is not permitted in the tank.

Celebrating its 30th year and set to take place February 15-19 along Collins Avenue across from the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc hotels in Miami Beach, the Miami Yacht Show attracts a global audience to a spectacular display of yachts and marine products, including more than 500 new and brokerage yachts and a wide array of the latest marine technology and accessories.

Also new this year is a floating VIP lounge nestled among some of the largest yachts in the center of the show and offering pass holders a relaxing, open-air space with open bar, refreshments, special showcases and concierge services. Featured among the VIP showcases is Watches & Wonders Virtual Reality system allowing VIPs to explore the history of watchmaking, play with timepieces and inventions that you will never have the opportunity to hold for real, and experience them at the time they were created.

Shuttle service is available to take VIP ticket holders to and from the Miami Yacht Show and Watches & Wonders Miami in the Miami Design District, which features more than 20 of the world’s leading luxury timepieces as well as the Miami Concourse displaying exotic cars.

In addition to its Collins Avenue location, the Miami Yacht Show includes a display of superyachts on Watson Island at the Island Gardens Deep Harbour marina, known as Superyacht Miami. Yacht brokers can arrange transportation for clients between the two show locations or guests may visit, MiamiYachtShow.com/superyacht to register for access.

Two different boat shows take place during Presidents’ Week. Informa manages and produces the Miami Yacht Show on Collins Avenue, which it co-owns it with the International Yacht Brokers Association. The event runs concurrently with the Miami International Boat Show, which is owned and operated by the National Marine Manufacturers Association.
