The 55m (180.4ft) LADY MICHELLE was delivered in 2003 by the well-respected Italian yard Benetti to interior and exterior designs by renowned Italian stylist Stefano Natucci, a design-and-build partnership that has produced many successful European yachts. Lalique fittings throughout set the refined tone.
Major refits in 2015 and 2017 included a full upgrade of her audio-visual equipment, the installation of a state-of-the-art bridge, significant upgrades to the interior and a blue hull paint that gives her a more distinguished appearance.
Her large sun deck features a jacuzzi with sun pads and a lounge forward and a bar with a shaded al fresco dining area midships. Aft is an all-weather gym with panoramic views across a sun lounging area. Her bridge deck has a spacious saloon for entertaining, with bar and day head, al fresco dining for 12 aft and generous sky lounge seating for relaxing after lunch. There’s a formal dining area for 12 on the main deck with a saloon and bar aft, leading through to a sun lounge with coffee tables.
Forward on the main deck is a palatial split-level owner’s suite with his and hers bathrooms and an office, and steps forward lead up to a show-stopping observation lounge with 180-degree views. Her accommodation, for up to 13 guests, also includes a VIP suite to starboard on the bridge deck and four further cabins, two doubles and two twins, one with a pullman berth, on the lower deck.
Twin 1,850hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 5,500 nm at 12 knots. She is also fitted with zero speed stabilizers for comfort at anchor.
